A+F

After reading great things about this film, I found it disappointing. Large portions of it just felt like watching an Abercrombie & Fitch catalog brought to life. In other words, pretty boys running around looking pretty but precious little story to go with the imagery. On top of that, what story there was often made little sense.

To each their own! I loved it.

It is not an action film, nor obviously, is it pornography. It is telling a simple story about the complicated issues of first love, especially as it is complicated by the sexuality of the two lovers. I am very critical of films that do not hold together logically, and I have no complaints about this film's cohesiveness.

If you are younger (e.g., teens or early twenties), come back to it in 10 or 20 years and you may appreciate it more.

That's quite a funny remark (If you are younger (e.g., teens or early twenties), come back to it in 10 or 20 years and you may appreciate it more.) since the film was originally meant for a television network for children/young teenagers. :p

I thought the same thing in that one scene early on of them swimming.

Must be just me, but I didn't find any of the boys that attractive. Seiger was cute and I only ever found Marc attractive because of his "personality", but I thought he was average looking. The story was decent and easy to follow. I watched the movie from two different sources and I found that the subtitles were different in certain areas. One translation made more sense than the other. So, maybe you had bad subtitles?
