Really enjoyed it (*Some spoilers)

I read about this movie some months ago. The idea of Nathan Jones as a psychotic murderer at a farm slicing up tourists sounded so awesome. My expectations were high.

I'll just discuss some points. First of all; yes, as many have said, not all the acting is great, but I don't think that it is bad at all. Not Oscar material, no, but I never expected that from this movie. Secondly, some people have complained about the slow build-up and yes, I can understand why people naively would feel this way. But this is really something that works quite well because this is exactly what makes the last 30 minutes of hardcore slaughtering so effective because it is in such contrast to the hour or so that precedes it. Finally, Charlie is in my opinion everything I could hope for as the murderer/bad-guy and even more so; he's huge both in terms of height and mass and ferocious in his facial expressions and the way he moves. This really, really works and it was such a pleasure watching a guy of such stature kill the tourists off.

I rate this 7/10. I was going back and forth between 6 and 7 because there were some things that I thought was just plain silly or just did not deliver as well as it could have, e.g. the guy who shot Charlie's father and who was also at the bar showing up at the end of the movie. I also thought that the Kane Hodder Nathan Jones encounter was just not what it could have been. This could have been a much more brutal and in my opinion, it needed more heavy fighting and a much better build up before the two met. Overall, I would probably rate this something like 6.8, but because of the imdb rating system, I have to choose 6 or 7 and thus 7 it is.

I recommend this movie to everyone interested in this type of horror movies.

100% true

If you grew up on Jason you should love this, I remeber Nathan Jones as a wrestler, he was great here. The acting not so much but Nate carries it, he even made Tara Reid watchable.

I had to explain to my gf who Kane was when he asked "is that you Jason". It's cool when they work stuff like that in the script.

You hate Congress but every election you re-elect YOUR "guy" and wonder why things never change!
