What the hell is this?

I thought this was a horror film because I saw it on BD website. THIS IS NOT A HORROR FILM OR A DOCUMENTARY. Not sure what this trash is, a acted documentary? Mock? I fell asleep 20 mins in. A truly terrible boring film with a bunch of people saying the same thing over and over. This is awful.

Hopefully one day you'll experience sleep paralysis & we'll all be happy.

reply

Hahahhahah shut up. They could have at least made it slightly interesting.

reply

I agree with parisz, if you have never experienced it you wont relate. I only watched because I know how horrifying sp can be... Film is made very well in my opinion.

too bad everybody in the world experience sleep paralysis every time they go to sleep. Only difference is that you are awake for it and others aren't. Completely normal experience.

Maybe you got a kid maybe you got a pretty wife only thing that I got been botherin me my whole life

reply

You're not simply awake while your body is paralyzed, you are experiencing terrifying hallucinations that are far more vivid and convincing than any dream.

reply

Your dreams may not be very memorable then. Either way, if you know what you are experiencing, which is SP, then you know that you will be perfectly fine after it wears off. Any body or visual/aural hallucination is a result of rem sleep. Problem is that people who are not educated on the manner will likely attribute it to something else, usually something supernatural if the victim is naive enough.

Please just stop watching. You will regret the time you wasted.

reply

I agree it's weird they got actors to pretend it's a documentary but the experiences they describe are spot on from what I experienced. Especially the loud buzzing and feeling/seeing things that aren't there.

reply

Hope you never become acquainted with anything remotely like this.

I've experienced SP a number of times and didn't relate in the least and I also found it hard to stay awake during the viewing. That said, I didn't think it was a waste of time, I liked it that they didn't try to make a movie out of it but the documentary style wasn't very genuinely executed so I've mixed feelings about this. I would have thought people who hadn't experience SP would have enjoyed it more than those of us who has.

Yeah I don't really give a *beep* about other people's dreams.

I hated this movie too.
