Sneaky but good

I had really low expectations for this movie and the first 20 minutes confirmed my worst fears. Low budget, bad acting, bad direction, tired genre tropes and stupid gross out humor...but then the movie dials it up to eleven and it actually gets good. The lead actor (the army guy) seems to have the best acting chops and he gives the craziness something to centre on once he starts getting more involved in the plot. But generally everything gets better and there are some really hilarious moments that force you to change your earlier judgments about characters. I remember thinking the best part of the movie would be when that skinny bully guy eventually gets it but his predicament becomes so crazy you start rooting for him to find some way out.

Definitely not a perfect movie but alot of promise can be seen with the filmmakers who might be a bit rough around the edges but definitely have an interesting voice. There were also some things that were really well done , if a bit raw, like the dark comedy and general pacing. Looking back, it was a good choice to spend the first part of the movie very slow and develop into the fast paced horror comedy that it becomes.
