Black & white version

Is this still happening? J. Mangold had an idea to release it in black and white on the Blu-ray release. It would be a one of a kind special edition, and I would love to see it.
(I'm not sure if Mad Max got a b&w version at the end)

I don't think Mad Max ever got a black and white blu-ray release, at least not to my knowledge. I haven't heard anything in regards to whether this will ever get one.

I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here- https://youtu.be/sgSF7ho3cc4

Amazingly, Mangold has confirmed that a black & white cut is not only going to be released on Blu-ray, but it's also coming to theaters on May 16 (apparently only to US theaters though).

While the idea of seeing Logan NOT in its original form feels rather strange to me (it's simply perfect), the film could have arguably worked in b&w. I'm kinda intrigued by this, to say the least.

I see no point in this whatsoever. The colors are so distinctive. The dusty browns of the opening, the colorful casino / frozen time sequence, the lush green of Canada at the end. This movie does not seem to belong in black & white at all to me.

thank god MM:FR didnt get a B&W tho,

that movie has one of the best uses of colour in any film ever

logan could be cool in black and white tho, I'd watch it again for sure.
