Conflicted

I'm a man who likes science fiction, enjoyed the movie Children of Men and before i even knew this came from the writer of the book (if i read the article right) I said to myself the premise seemed similar to Children of Men. Anyways my confliction rests on the fact that this series airs on Lifetime. The men hating channel for women, I feel awkward recording a series off this channel especially since I'm single and there are no females in the house. I guess I am a sexist pig. I suppose I can take solace in the fact that I missed the premiere broadcast and it's airing on A&E tonight and not Lifetime.

Ohio!

I am female and I never watch LIFETIME because I don't care for chick flicks but the scifi premise had me curious. I wouldn't put a label of man hating on it though. I don't know about other shows but in this one the only remotely likeable character was the young father although he was a bit of an idiot.

If you do watch don't expect the quality to come anywhere close to Children of Men, cause it doesn't. Its very silly really loaded with clichés, but good for a laugh.

i am a female and i like action movies, which are mostly sexist towards women. if you are into it, watch it. it doesn't make you less of a man. It shows that you are a Hugh Jackman, a man confident in his sexuality.

Just a heads up my post was only being half serious anyways but it just feel slightly awkward setting up a DVR timer on the Lifetime channel. I actually didn't know the series existed since Lifetime isn't really in my "universe" but I saw the promo for this series while watching "Battle of the Damned" a zombie/robot movie that I recorded on SyFy and finished watching before I made this posting.

I thought Battle of the Damned was a lot of fun. All they needed was a dinosaur to make it totally hilarious. I really like Dolph Lundgren!!!! You must broaden your horizons Ohio and not let the network itself dictate what you watch. Interesting stuff pops up on channels you would least expect. But I admit, I would never have know about the show cause I never check the Lifetime channel for programs.

Is this really true. I don't watch anything Lifetime. It's a pity the SyFy network decided to move its programming away from the science fiction genre.

you are a sexist pig. that aside, if it makes you feel any better, Lifetime is women hating channel. its portrayal of women is the most sexist I have seen in ages. So, you can rest assured that if you decide to watch this POS of a tv show, it will be women hating all the way.

Exactly what I was going to type. The few times I've watched Lifetime, and I can honestly say I would need only one hand to count and I'd have fingers left over, all I've seen is women being portrayed as basically, dumb. As a woman myself, I feel offended.

I might give this show a try, but, I am not expecting any brilliant writing or story telling and not much intelligence.
