this was shown on the the SFY channel last night. It has hit a new low with this tripe. It's the same story as countless times before. Earthquakes everywhere. Man can't find girlfriend. Convicts escape. Military plan to save LA. As for the special effects. Bert I. Gordon did better effects in the 50s and they were bad enough. The scenes of Downton LA on fire etc, are abysmal. Another let down.

This movie is on par with other similarly schlocky SyFy movies. Was nice to see Teal'c (Christopher Judge) in something post-Stargate.
