The "hits" put out by DPR...

So the entire argument in support of the search and seizure of Ulbricht's property by the government / prosecution is that he had ordered hits on several competitors. It's now known that those hits were never actually carried out, and were faked by a rogue agent in order to further his own personal gain within the Silk Road community. My question is whether or not anyone ever explored the likelihood that the entire "contract killing" story was actually completely made up by this rogue agent? He was the individual known as "nob" that Ulbricbht allegedly contacted to murder his competitors. So the entire prosecution's case is based upon the word of this rogue DEA agent who was pilfering close to a million dollars at the time? Give me a break.
