The picture she shows Cooper (spoiler)

After Julia asks about his daughter and he more or less tells her to shut the F-up...she pulls out a picture of "her daughter" and shows it to Cooper/her dad. He looks at it, then her, then the picture again and her...never saying anything. But the expression on his face says, WTF? Maybe I'm not catching it, but what would the picture have shown? Since she never had a child, and this was just a dream, I'm just curious what the picture might have shown. Her as a child? A blank picture? A model cut out of a magazine from a Maybelline ad? I was hoping to see a flashback at the end where it shows that scene again and the actual picture, during the big reveal. Or Cooper bringing it up at some point later on. But it never happened.

There is no picture.
In real life the interaction never happened. In her dream the picture would just look like whatever she thought Clara looked like and since dream Cooper is just a figment of her imagination he wouldn't have 'seen' the picture anyways

As I get what you're trying to say, "there is no picture", I still think he saw something. She showed him, something. And his reaction screams, what the hell are you showing me? Or hell...maybe it was a blank photo. If it was blank...OK. But we "see" everything else in her dream. I suppose it doesn't matter much in the whole scheme of things, otherwise, we may have found the answer somewhere in the movie. Granted, I can see what you mean, since the whole movie was a dream. But they were interacting together the entire time, so I don't know why there wouldn't be an actual picture to go with the interaction.

I'm probably way overthinking this. Regardless, I appreciate your theory!

We don't see the picture because for the sake of the plot we didn't need to see the picture.
The props department probably just didn't want to go through the hassle of finding one.I really think you're looking to deeply into this when there's a pretty simple answer.

The doll who was laying with her in the hospital bed was named Clara. The fictional daughter's name was Clara. If he saw anything, I would guess it was the doll. Many girls pretend their stuffed animals are family, so that's probably what she was thinking.
