At 69 minutes they send up a bomber to test the first two installations of 'Chain Home', but the bomber has a an RF radar loop on it's roof...

While they strive to invent the first ever radar there somehow exists a small mobile version in the aircraft they used :D

That's an RDF loop, that's not the same as radar and had been around for years. WW had worked on these in the 1920's and probably helped to give him the experience to work on radar later on.
