Well Linda is 57. I didn't know she was a smoker. I haven't seen her in movies in such a long time. When she was on the original"Beauty and the Beast"..I watched weekly. But the new version...well in my opinion. Is pure crap. Celebs do age somewhat differently. Depends on their work schedule. Some celebs do work at some projects for months and months without any breaks or vacations. And also. Linda might be going thru a life termoil. When a celeb who was hot in one tv show...for unknown seasons. And suddenly. Drops out of sight of the limelight for years. Some people who are fans of any celeb...might be wondering. What ever happen to their favourite celeb. I have two favourite women celebs they was hot in the 80's...and now. Don't hear about anything. One is Melinda Culea of the A-Team. And the other is Jean Bruce Scott of Airwolf. Both women just dropped out of sight. Still don't know. Well same as Linda Hamilton. She might just wanted to be left alone. And raise her two grown children. She has a son and daughter from two different guys. And one thing. Linda has an indentical twin sister..who is a fire fighter. And does some acting Her twin was in the sequal to Terminater. Both played Sarah Connor. Well all would have to read about that. And find out. Just like Jill Hennessy..she has a twin sister name Jackie. Well all can figure that out. Just giving some highlights.
shareI dvred this pile of crap and I'm watching it now. I couldn't believe how horrible she looked. As someone mentioned, and I didn't knee this, but smoking mashes anyone age quickly. It causes constriction on the blood vessels, and after seeing her face, the same is obvious. I actually freeze framed just too see the damage, and the HD doesn't help. For someone who seemed so into being fit, the whole smoking thing just crushed any efforts.

It appears that unlike nearly every Hollywood actress of her age, she has had no surgery, Botox or collagen, which now has become the standard look we are all used to on screen for an actress of a certain age. Good for her. It's exactly the type if demeaning attitude of this thread title which enforces the idea that women should do their best not to age beyond the age of 40 and keep wrinkles and sagging at bay with all sorts of invasive and potentially dangerous procedures.
shareGeesh, if you think that is fine for 57, you must live in a very cold region where wind and sun destroy your skin. I am 57 and that woman does not look like 57, maybe 67, buy no where under 65. That said, I think it was intentionally made up for that role. It was not an ordinary make-up job.
If all 57 year old women looked that bad I would just give up on women all together. About 10% of women going thru menopause get hit by that. I think 1. she does not give a S**t and 2. they wanted her to look old.
But, being in a syfi channel movie means she should be co-starring with Lance Henrickson and that guy that played Superboy soon. Or selling depends on late nite infomercials.

shareIf you look at her photos on here, the first 2 are from 2010 and they dont look too bad, so perhaps it was all makeup on this film. After all she was an Admiral of the fleet, not a job for a younger woman.
