Couldn't watch it anymore

The acting was as if they were reading their lines off of cue cards. And the tube worms or whatever they were? BAD CGI.

How did it end?. I only lasted 15 minutes. I had to shut it off it was so bad

reply

It was bad. Even by syfy channel standards.

It basically turned into a rip off of Independence Day complete with rescue of the President, and destroying the aliens. Oh yeah, they were aliens, not a sea creatures lol.

Just really bad. Be glad you stopped watching :)

Don't you go dying on me!

LOL THANKS

I beat you by 15 minutes. I held out for a half hour. I can't believe the poor masochists that watched this piece of torture all the way through.

reply

As soon as I saw the CGI I sighed. Oh well

I watched about 20 minutes of it, but it felt like two hours. This movie was horrible, I couldn't believe how bad it was. I hope big ass spider next weekend is better lol.

Well, SyFy has me hooked on these absolutely terrible movies. So bad, I have to continue my torture and watch the whole thing just to nit-pick it apart. The military errors, bad acting (with rare exceptions) and most of all, the script-- If you can call that writing a script. SyFy movies may have found a new formula... Make 'em so awful that you have fun watching just how bad movie making can be! Linda Hamilton, what were you thinking? And Trevor Donovan as "Chief" Oliver (He's WAY to young to be a Navy Chief) with the line, as they rescue the president and he is in control of the DSRV "I'm giving her all she's got." HA! Thought I was watching Scotty in a Star Trek movie. Laughable! And yet I still watch-- Help Me!

I watched the whole abominable thing. Not quite the worst film ever made, but it must be close.

I won't describe all of the plot holes, appalling script and bad acting, to save you the pleasure of enjoying it later on!

Suffice it to say that ships change type, as do aircraft mid flight. US navy warships are all at least 50 years old, and despite (or because of) their aged guns are unable to fire even a single shot at the enemy. The sailors resort to small arms fire.

Small budgets can be enough for some of the most memorable movies. Budget is no excuse for stupidity and ignorance. The producers seem to have nothing but contempt for their audience, and the studio foolish enough to fund them.
