I loved this movie

People seem to be riled up that this is an anti-abortion message movie. I guessing they are actually just PO'ed by the ending.

I thought it was a really beautifully filmed and scored, well-acted, dreamily atmospheric horror film.

I really wish Bruce McDonald would do more horror films ... the dude clearly has a wild imagination.

If it was done well, it could have been pro-life, pro-choice, pro-whatever. I don't believe in demon possession but found The Exorcist to be compelling because it was done so well. Hellions started out intriguing but then it turned really, really boring.

I'm a real kewl kat.🐈

I agree. And I usually like stylistic movies, but for some reason, this one failed to hold my interest. "Checked out" is exactly what I did.

My pro-life/pro-choice views aside, I don't think people should look too much into that when watching this movie. In my opinion, the movie was just too scattered to enjoy. It started out pretty decent, but then it went in too many directions to actually follow.

Am I Dreaming???

I hope Bruce McDonald NEVER does a horror movie or any movie for the rest of his life. This film was complete horse *beep*

I too enjoyed this. Nothing to go crazy about, but the way it was shot was very cool. It reminded me of a long-play Birthday Massacre video in places though. Still, for what is was and the budget, very enjoyable. I did start getting annoyed with the music but the more I thought about it, the more tormented I felt....so hats off to the sound engineers for making me feel uncomfortable in a Horror movie for once.:)

At times I could even sense a late 60's Hammer Horror element to it which is never a bad thing. Yeah overall I agree. Not a bad flick. 6/10.

I think people need to stop obsessing over the possible political aspect of this film and look at it purely as a horror film. I mean, Jeez, people--Night of the Living Dead actually did have a political message, but when we watch it we think "terrifying zombies," not "apartheid/segregation issues."
I took it at face value at first, momentarily thought there may be a pro-life message, but I honestly didn't see it after the first 20 minutes. What I think is the much more important thing to remember about this film is to actually listen to what you're hearing.

I loved it too. A good halloween movie. People read and expect to much. Ignore.
