Baby Alex's death

Shaken baby syndrome. She shook him all the time, either purposefully trying to kill the him or she just didn't know what she was doing. It's a controversial subject in real life, where some innocent parents have been accused of shaking their baby violently.

It wasn't made clear (at least through the subs) if Alex died due to broken ribs, due to the multiple hematomas in the head or both. I think it was implied that the mother did not only broke his ribs by shaking him violently (Shaken Baby Syndrome) but that she also hit him in the head. Anna was clearly a severely mentally disturbed woman..
