Born in Italy, raised in America, strong British accent. Did I miss something?
shareI had the impression she'd only been in the States a few years, for her last stretch of school (England before that obviously). But I can't remember what in the film gave me that idea. So that's really no help! Sorry.

She lived with her grandmother at first, in England, and then when her grandmother got dementia or whatever and couldn't take care of her, her dad sent her to the boarding school in the states.
