I figured it out,..it's Peter Coyote, it was driving me nuts.

Aarrrgghh!! Thank you. I couldn't stop thinking about it, it was driving me mad lol. Phew.

Peter Coyote's name appears in the end credits as "Langley" so it's not exactly a mystery.
