All I can say after watching this film is thank god I did'nt go to an all girls school, are the relationships between the girls really this intense? I did'nt particularly enjoy this film although it did a good job of recreating the late 60's/early 70's. One big criticism is the hairdressing mother - come on she was clearly only in her twenties and far too young looking to be a mother to anyone other than a toddler

The actress who plays the mother is 41.

She looked much older than twenties. People must age horribly wherever you live.
