Agree. A most promising start which rapidly descends into a pythonesque spectacle of multiple instances of unexplained fainting. Any atmosphere they may have managed to conjure in the first half hour soon dissipates amid nonsensical scenes and a soundtrack absurdly inappropriate to the 1969 setting.

When you go to see a magician, you always want to be explained?
Since many of the characters in this film were seen smoking cigarettes, my impression is that the creator simply was financed by big tobacco to make a really long cigarette commercial. Maybe the girls were passing out from exposure to so much side stream smoke.
