Maisie Williams is talking about how awkward her first "sex scene" was in this film. But it wasn't a sex scene, Maisie. The guy copped a feel of your boob (over a thick as hell bra and shirt), you two kissed, and then you were interrupted. End of scene. Period. Stop making it sound like it was more intense than it actually was.
Do an actually pumping, sweating and grunting sex scene like they do in GoT where you strip off all your clothes and reveal some boobs and butt. THEN tell us how awkward it is.
No one like a teaser.

_______ 39 of the last 45 Best Actress Oscar winners have been nude in films. See how that works?
I think maybe you must have been watching a version censored for TV or something, I just watched it and they were definitely having sex, the mom interrupts at the 'climax' so to speak. I can see why someone with no previous experience depicting sex scenes would feel extra awkward during this one, it's hella skeeve.

First of all, a sex scene doesn't have to be performed in the nude for it to be awkward for the actors. You've confused this with pornography. Just simulating an intimate act can be awkward, exspecially for a young woman who's taking her first steps into sexually-charged scenes.
Secondly, YES, she did have a sex scene. It was in the final scenes, and it was with her BROTHER. Yes, she remained clothed, but HE certainly took his pants off and thrusted away between her legs. She even manages to orgasm right before they're interrupted by their mother... which, ironically, sounds like what happened to you while watching this film.
Thirdly, what a strange thing to have a beef with that you'll take to a message board to ctiticise - without even having seen the complete film.
And finally...

... that's pretty squicky of you. Your attitudes toward sexual behaviour and what sexual displays you obviously feel you're entitled to see is pretty unhealthy.

She said SHE felt awkward, not the character. And all Maisie did was lie there while the guy wiggled a bit.
If THAT'S awkward to her, then I feel sorry for the first guy -- or girl -- who ever actually gets her into bed in real life.

Yes, because an older guy with his pants down grinding between her thighs while a film crew stands around watching and filming for the entire world to see is just like the first time a girl gets intimate with a guy in real life.
Very mild. But not graphic in any sense of the word. It was basically a TV sex scene. She had more physical interaction in her fight scenes on GoT.
Not true. Her legs were spread and that guy was pounding her HARD. Even if we assume she was wearing panties and the guy was wearing a sock, the sensation of his (probably mildly erect) penis pounding relentlessly against her vagina in take after take probably caused her to get a little wet. It was a very serious scene.
