Raw and real

I was really looking forward to this film, having loved Like Crazy and being an interested follower of Stewart's work and seeing great potential in the chemistry between her and Holt.

Their portrayal of 2 twenty-somethings who have never known any physical contact (just think about that for a minute) and now have such strong yearnings for each other is something they pot rayed very convincingly.

Their connection was palpable, raw and real.Their honesty and vulnerability was really effective in drawing the viewer in to their experience. I travelled their emotional road with them. I loved the scenes between them when they were 'switched on' ...but my disappointment cane when I realised how little screen time was actually given to the development of their relationship.

The fact that the whole premise of the film is rooted in their discovery of love and intimacy with each other and how realise they cannot live without it would suggest that Dores would want to give a decent amount of screen time to them 'discovering each other and yet these scenes ate only given 4 minutes which I found frustrating scant.

Don't agree with your editing choice on that one Drake, especially as this is his trademark approach.

I would also loved to have been able to hear what Silas and Nia said to each other in their initial tryst in the toilet cubicle...both Stewart 's and Holts's 1st lines are unintelligible . I'll obviously have to wait for the sub - titles on the DVD!
