This movie sucked so bad!

I had been skipping past it on Netflix because Katherine Heigl was in it. Coming off of a week of Boardwalk Empire I thought it might be a good time to watch this movie.

AAAHHHHHHGGGG! I want to scratch my eyes out!! I want to find Katherine Heigl and beat the crap out of her! I want to find the people who continue to cast her and probably beat the crap out of them!!!
There was nothing exceptional about the movie and my favorite part was the conga line because the movie was over!!! I want the time back that I wasted on this!!

She did it! She did it! The lady with the grape!

Why do they all sound like whiny teenagers in this film?

The entire movie is just watching a miserable family bickering. I could not care less about any of them. Completely intolerable movie. I was hoping for a romantic comedy or even a romantic drama but there was zero chemistry between the lead couple, you could almost see them internally retching when they had to kiss. Terrible all around.

And the dialogue is absolutely terrible. It's basically like a bunch of kids whining and moaning to each other.

The dialogue in this movie made a great actor like Tom Wilkinson sound like he's just some bad community theater actor.

The mother was especially bad also.

It's amazing they were able to piece together even a half way decent trailer from his hogwash.

The movie unless its a period piece in 1995 makes no sense whatsoever in modern life.

Plus was it really plausible at all that 60 something year old Wilkinson and Sam McMurray were firefighters. I knows its just some lowly suburban Connecticut firehouse where the standards aren't as high for firefighters in cities like Chicago or New York but wow.

I think it was a dare so they put it together as quickly as possible.
