When will this premiere? Worrying that there is no distributor by now? :/

The movie will compete at Cannes festival in May first.

How do you know it will be shown at Cannes? Is there an article somewhere ?

The event will be held from 13 to 24 May. Charlize Theron also has Mad Max: Fury Road to show in Cannes.

I read that Penn said that he is finishing up the editing of the film. So it is not quite ready yet.

Turns out it won't premiere in Cannes.

Like I said in an earlier post, it does not seem to be ready. I think the fall film festivals will be better for this film than Cannes.
