In either show there is no one to hate, but you will find away to hate someone. I wonder about you and your grip on reality.
1st of all, Paint, I'm glad that you discovered this lovely little gem of a series! I'm really liking both Australian & New Zealand television, that I discover over the Internet!
2nd, I'm very happy that Azza finally decided that his girlfriend was more important than sowing his wild oats abroad! It seems like he actually did some growing up, once Dave moved out, and wasn't there to constantly enable him.
I'm also very happy that Dave brought the children and mother-in-law home for his girlfriend's birthday!
As a side-note, the age difference in their relationship isn't entirely unprecedented! British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli's wife was 50, when he married her at age 35. She was a rich widow, and he a struggling Parliamentarian, so he married her for her money. Neither one of them had any delusions about the reasons of their partners; but by all accounts, it became a love match over time
PS: might I also recommend another Australian Series that I love very much? 'A Place to Call Home', it's now in its 2nd season, but it's fantastic!
