This movie is criminally underrated!

There I said it. Twice. I watch all kinds of horror movies for almost 30 years now, and this one deserves it's spot as one of the most entertaining, I simply loved it. It was like a rollercoaster once it started. I especially loved the solidity this movie has to offer, which makes it all seem more real and believable.

I enjoyed it but found the familiar faces took me out of the story when I first saw them.

rageinblack I totally agree. I am just trying to figure out how high I should rate this. To me it deserves an 8 or higher. I honestly can't find anything wrong with what I watched. It was different. It was entertaining. The acting was solid. I was in suspense throughout the movie. I don't know what more people could ask from a horror movie and like you I have seen horror movies for about 30 years now.

I watched this movie and I gotta say I fully agree with you. The idea is quite interesting and creative, the plot is solid and the mockumentary concept was really well done. The acting is mostly good too, though some extras really messed up (in my opinion) and there was this guy from the lab that looked like a 2015 hipster rather than a 70s random person. Anyway, I still can't believe how this movie has a -6 stars rate. It kept me on the edge of the seat the entire time.

Loved this! I went in not expecting much but I was honestly entertained the whole time. And the ending was awesome

agreed. it's not one of my absolute favourites but it IS a creative and fun spin on an otherwise overused idea. there are far too many possession movies that recycle the same story, it's great to see some new twists like an attempt to weaponise it. sure, we've also seen far too many movies where idiotic government agents try to weaponise things beyond their control (aliens usually) but again it avoided hitting the same stream of clichés and, thankfully, even offered justification for their stupidity (the demon manipulating their false sense of control)

Well, I am retired and watch about 20 movies a week, and this is one of the worse 3 in the past year. Actually, it is hard to remember one this bad. However, everyone is definitely entitled to their opinion, so no problem there. I just wish I could appreciate this thing as much as several others of you do.

Agreed, very original take on the possession theme.

Nothing bad to say about this flick. Must watch if you're a horror fan.

I gave it a 7.5/10. Pretty good.
