Think about it:

Look at superhero, Disney, and Pixar movies, they're all PG.

Superhero movies don't need graphic violence, blood, or swearing. Superhero movies use very little CGI. They mostly use practical effects.

But all Chucky movies are ENTIRELY CGI. Wow such lazy film makers! It's like they've never heard of practical effects. And why do they have to show graphic violence and blood? Why does Chucky have to swear all the time? It's like the makers of Chucky films have no respect for mothers and children.

Disney and Pixar movies are known for having adorable, likeable characters. How can anyone relate to Chucky? He's ugly and weird looking.

Look at The Avengers, Titanic, Suicide Squad, and Avatar, look at how much money they made and they're all PG rated. But how much money did Seed of Chucky make? Like $24 million?

PFFFT! What a bunch of losers. Anyone who's looking forward to this movie should be ashamed of themselves.

Curious which country you come from since in the USA none of the titles you mentioned specifically have a PG rating. Also compare budgets versus what the films actually gross. Horror movies are typically more profitable.

Regardless, this series is not meant for everyone. The creator is a fan himself. He's the one directing the films now, and Chucky has pretty much been his professional life. These films are not as profitable as let's say Saw or Paranormal Activity, but they're certainly not losing money.

Also you say entirely CGI? Just looking up the making of to see how completely wrong you are. The use of practical effects is actually inspiring. Also I realize you're trolling, but I'm bored. Also no real cinephiles care about box office earnings. If you like a film you should support it by spending money on a ticket, rental, or purchase. If you don't then move on to some other movie. There's plenty of movies out there. I, for one, love the horror genre, and I feel like Marvel, Disney, and Pixar movies are childish so I avoid them. DC movies are more mature so I do watch them, but occasionally I fall for watching garbage such as Green Lantern or Suicide Squad.

If a movie needs on screen deaths and blood then that movie ain't no good. Superhero movies don't need any of that stuff, that's why they're so successful. I love listening to Lil Wayne and Pitbull. I take pics of my foods and upload them on social media. I think Battlefield One is a realistic game. My IQ is very high.
