Anybody get annoyed by this? Couldn't they just give him a damn button or something to push to award them points instead of having him gleefully vocalize it like he's some sort of childish king reacting to his court jesters?

He's like a socially acceptable form of man child. I was shocked to find out he's actually in his 40s which I guess is sort of a compliment but then again you'd never be able to decipher his age based on his demeanor.

I'm surprised that he's so unpopular. I don't know what he's like in real life or of other projects he has been part of but I think he's a good host on this show. His zany laughter fits the tone of the program and makes it less awkward than if he just pushed a button and awarded them points. Imagining it without him laughing paints a rather boring, joyless picture.

I think he's a fabulous host. His enthusiasm and laughter are one the best things about the show. Yeah, it's not a brand new premise and haters are going to hate, but Hardwick is great.
My problem is the number of times points are awarded incorrectly or possibly off camera. He constantly announces "points" but then a different comedian's score changes.
shareMuch like WHOSE LINE, everything's made up and the points don't matter. Just sit back and enjoy.

He mentioned on the game few weeks ago. They film like 45 minutes of game and then have to edit it down to 25 minutes. That is why the scores don't seem to be adding up correctly as the game is played...
