Least Funny Person Always Seems To Win

At least when I've seen it, because it appears quite a few comedians have learned the trick of the show. It's not about actually being funny, it's just about crowd response. You can get that with some of the laziest jokes on Earth, as long as you drop a buzz word in that makes people cheer out of recognition. Say the word Trump, people just start cracking up. Mention weed, whole crowd cheers. Some of the comedians are very good at manipulating the crowd and have won on some of the dumbest jokes I've ever heard. There was a Taylor Swift reference though, so they were in the aisles.

"Trump is bad!"

Or "Trump is good!" but said sarcastically.

"Wage Gap! Durrr!!!"

There, I just won any episode.

I don't understand why a comedian would want to win. it doesn't serve a purpose. They should just look at it as an opportunity to be funny on TV, which will help them sell tickets for shows. That's probably how most comedians see it, too, I don't get the feeling many of them are trying to win.
