Such hipster Redditor *beep*

"Look at us, we are new school, edgy, watch edgy content, and make edgy jokes about pop culture." That's the vibe I've gotten since day 1. The show forces that *beep* too much. Nothing ever feels genuine.

Not even being a troll, and I will simply stop watching it, but does anyone see where I'm coming from?

Wow--did Hardwick $#@% your sister and kick your dog? Or are you just jealous?

You've gotten that vibe since day 1, but it's just started bothering you now all these episodes later?

Go watch the Lifetime channel. Sounds like it would be easier for you to handle.

I love edgy but they just seem to do it to act like this 'hip modern show' .. Just comes across as pretentious to me.

I can handle it easily, it just doesn't seem genuine.

reply

Yeah, it's almost like they're on a show or something. Weird.

The guest comedians can make it worth it, but yeah Hardwick and the writers pander to certain millennials big time.

I think Hardwick makes the show watchable. A lot of the male comedians that come on just go for the 'edgy' (read: offensive and not actually funny) jokes, and he's there shaking his head like "ohhhh." The best episodes are the ones with the really fired-up female comedians, like Nikki Glaser and Jessimae Peluso. The entire group steps up their game a bit when they're on, but when it's all dudes it often gets a bit urrrghhh.
