REAL BEAR?

I cannot find anything about the hula hooping bear.I want to say it is s real bear with a little bit of computer animation. Is the Bear real? It seems like a circus bear and that is politically incorrect to all the sensitives so maybe it is not bring mentioned.

reply

it does look real. i wondered too but have no answer for you

reply

His trainer not only speaks native Russian (with light intentional accent), but kind of Russian you would hear from a real trainer (maybe from circus, indeed), so I'd say he's a professional, and that bear is real.

reply

There's a youtube video of him, search "mi nombre pavel y este mi oso".

reply

The Bear is real but the green screening is really noticeable.

I live in Russia and I don't really understand all the fuss about bear. It's a real circus bear performing simple tricks without any CGI involved. Trainer is Russian. There are lots of animals in Russian circuses. No fairy tale with that for sure.

reply

The fuss is because in the US those kinds of animal acts are considered cruel to the animal so people get freaked out when they see them in films.

There are many laws governing the use of animals in films, so it's highly unusual to see something like that.

Movies are IQ tests; the IMDB boards are how people broadcast their score.

reply

As soon as you said you were Russian, I found myself reading the rest of your comment in my head with a Russian accent. That was strange.

reply

Yes, in the USA we weep to see a performing bear. The only way to train a bear is through cruelty, so we know that animal has suffered.

reply

It should be banned all over the world to use animals in circuses.

reply

Only hippie, liberal , leftist, PETA brainwashed, incapacitated thinking, cult member, sheep "weep" when they see well taken care of, well loved animals performing, entertaining and bringing joy to the hearts of millions. They are there same people who closed down Ringling Brothers. Evil monsters. A performing bear act is not dangerous to the bear, and we (USA) have TONS of movies with animals doing crazy, awesome, amazing, fun things. They are called comedies. If you'll notice at the end of all movies with animals, this one included, it will note that the animals were not harmed in the making of this film. There are many ways to train animals without cruelty. It's an entire industry from dogs/cats up to elephants. For movies, commercials, photoshoot campaigns and more. People spitting out false statements and trying to pass them off as facts based solely on their own opinions is ridiculous.

reply

And you are just another nazi thickheaded bonehead with eastern accent.

reply

It looks like a real bear BUT the bear preformed in an empty room with the trainer and was composited into the scene.

reply

If you watched how it moved you can see the CGI very well done. It was a real bear but it was spliced footage.
