My theory on the 'found' pizza

The guy who gave up money takes him around and just happens to find three medium complete pizzas. (Fun fact--even though they blurred out the logo, it looked like Little Caesars.) My theory is that the guy who gave up money called in a bogus pizza order beforehand. This is an old trick to score free pizza--call in an order for a pizza with toppings you think no one else would want (this means they won't be able to sell it to somebody else), and when you fail to pick up your order they just throw it out. I noticed that at least one pizza had pineapple on it, which is something that I imagine isn't commonly ordered outside of certain regions.

How would he call them unless he had a cell phone? He claims to have no money so its unlikely he made the phone call.

Anyway, I think the producers set it up. The pizza was reasonable but to find a sports blazer thats Karl's size, jeans that are Karl's size and a perfectly packaged pie seemed too perfect to be true.

Another thing, I noticed that man had glasses on. How did he get money for them? In America, you have to pay for anything health related.

Well, as you said, it was Little Caesars which is pre-made and you don't order it (unless you want something special I think). So it's reasonable to believe that that was just the pizza that they hadn't sold by the end of the day.

That's the thing. I've never seen a pre-made (aka "hot and ready") pizza with pineapple on it. That means somebody specifically ordered a pizza with pineapple on it, and then didn't pick it up. And they conveniently did this just before the homeless guy happened to go Dumpster-diving behind the Little Caesars.

Looked very much like Pizza Hut to me. Not just from the logo, but from the style of pizza it was.

reply

Perhaps. I haven't had Pizza Hut in a long time.
