One long commercial for google glasses.

If you want to sell your perspective, your view, the secrets you unconsciously mention and if more adopts similat tech, in the end killing ALL privacy that is left (how long til there are lenses, how long til there is an option to have a transplant lense -to benefit this technology at this point in time when the totalitarian informal surveillence network has been dragged out in the light but before it has been tamed by the people and during a time where rights have been removed in most countries due to obscure terrorist "law", is not good for democracy, freedom or accountability within any powerstructure...).

If you want 1984 realised, knock yourself out.

Ignorance is only a bliss if you haven't reached awareness.
My imdb posts are getting altered.

What I saw was more a screed against Google Glass (no longer available anyway:-) than a commercial for the concept. I certainly did not see an "endorsement" of either the glasses in particular or of personal technology more generally. What I saw was an exploration of the concept, one that portrayed (even emphasized) some of its most serious drawbacks.

A lot of bad things happen in this film. Some are a result of the overall techno-culture that produced Google Glass; others are directly attributable to these glasses themselves. After watching this film, the last thing I wanted to do was to obtain similar glasses - seems to me it should if anything be classed as an anti-commercial.

Yeah all this movie accomplished for me was to once again confirm that that is not a society I would want to be a part of.
If anything like this ever becomes "reality" (it'll actually be the exact opposite of that) - and I effing hope it never will - then I'm genuinely leaving my things and will start looking for a hut somewhere in a mountain forest.

Though I'm sure some of the braindead masses will watch this movie and think how great it would be to be able to download the features of any good looking person you pass on the street just so you could have some more realistic - but still unreal - virtual sex with him or her later that night, alone, in your bedroom, while you're actually just having sex with your hand.
Or be willing to go transhuman by implanting a chip into their brain because their egotistical and fragile egos won't be able to cope with the idea if being considered a "weird one" like the Amish.

Well, it'll be a compliment to be considered weird by such a zombie society if it means I could retain my own mind, consciousness and privacy, thank you.
