Jesus, everyone is WAY too hard to please these days

Movies that have nothing to them like superhero movies get called masterpieces, while a small, thought provoking film like this get sh*t on for no real reason other than, "I turned it off, cause... No splosions". Honestly, I have no idea what people want. This was a good movie. it's a solid idea, it set out to do what it was meant to do. Asking anything more is stupid. I don't post much on boards like these. Sadly, I think the majority of those who do, usually don't have much to offer. in fact, I've never seen a comment crapping on something and thought "Hmmmm. Maybe they were right. Maybe after half watching a movie while surfing the internet on their phone they know more than everyone." I really hope no one involved in this movie reads your garbage comments. Because I for one like the work they are doing and want to see more.

P.s. One of the best posters I've ever seen for a movie. Good on whoever did it.

Sadly, you're right. Independent and intelligent movies won't garner the respect of the buying public. Formula for a blockbuster in 2015:

At least 3 on screen murders

ANYTHING featuring zombies or "hot, young vampires"

Disjointed plot line

Sophomoric and juvenile humor centered around a group of male buddies...bonus for fart jokes!

The tired and overdone cliche of a 30 something, never married woman searching for Mr. right, when surprise...he was there all along. He was just friend zoned...hahaha!! Zzzzzzzzz

Movies that feature s&m fantasies or strippers to feed the middle aged suburban soccer mom's daydreams

So yes..ANYTHING nowadays that doesn't follow the afford mentioned formulas....Will be $hit on. Sad

I just watched this movie today via Netflix, and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. Not sure why everyone is complaining about it, the subject matter was not an issue to me and it's not like the film makers made a mockery of the murders at all. I thought the acting was decent, the directing was good and overall the story was entertaining.

One of the hidden gems of 2015, in my opinion of course.

I have not seen this because of no Netflix!

But I need to!
