INSPIRATION!!!

(I would like to apologize in advance for any typos. I'm typing this on my kindle in an cafe and for some reason, the IMDB app doesn't have auto correct.)

Ok, I know this is incredibly late, but I finally got around to watching the season finale of the show. This was, by far, my most favorite episode and for good reason. I loved the fantasy aspect of it, since I'm a huge fantasy nut and one of my favorite story cliches is the "hero's journey." When the contestants were asked to created a creature who had a prop that was linked to their stories, I was squeeing like crazy! My personal favorite was Ben's creature where he had his son who was still an embryo and was searching for a safe place to have him grow up. I loved how Robert's creature said "He vill be vell protected, my friend." I'm sure he has a nurturing nature and would gladly raise an innocent child as his own.

I really hope I wasn't the only one who felt that this could be the start to a greater story. I mean, all the elements are there: a tragic past, raised by a race that is unlike his own, etc. I kept thinking of what the small creature would grow up to be and his relationship to Robert's character. Would the "Orb of Power" come into play again when the child grows up?

I've always dreamt of being a writer and ever since I watched that episode I've been brainstorming ideas for the past few hours. I'm sure there are some legal bindings to this, so it'll probably not be allowed past "fan fiction" stages, but I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I erased the episode, so I forgot what the names of the creatures were and their race-names, if they were listed at all. Just for fun, I thought I'd write a few short stories surrounding these characters, just to help my creative juices flowing. Is it available online somewhere?

It's basically the Krogan from Mass Effect, plus another side story.

Feel free to rip off to your heart's content, it's the presentation that matters anyway. Just don't be an ass like Suzanne Collins and JK Rowlings and pretend like you never heard of whatever you're ripping off and come up with stupid stories about how you came up with the ideas. Quentin Tarantino did that at first as well, Reservoir Dogs is basically straight up plagiarism of a Chinese movie, and he lied about it for quite a while just like Suzanne Collins.

I still have the last episode on my DVR. I am going to delete it but before I do did you still need any info from the episode?
I can give you the names of characters or anything else. Please let me know so I can use that space for something else.
I only kept it this long as I thought the final story was amazing. I wanted to wait awhile until I watched it again and I'm getting ready to do that. After I watch it I'm going to delete it so I'll wait a little while until I hear from you. I would appreciate it if you would reply promptly. Thanks.

Oh wow, really? That's very considerate of you, but I actually caved and bought the episode on iTunes, so I was able to get my resources. I almost forgot about this post since it wasn't getting a lot of responses. Plus we still don't know if we're getting a second season or not.

I really would like to be a writer someday. When I watch shows like Face Off and Creature Shop, I'm constantly changing or elaborating the backstory of the characters. But if I want to be a successful writer, I can't write fan fiction all my life. If you'd like to hear my ideas, I'd be happy to share them with you!
