Canceled?

I didn't outright hear the Face-Off style "NEXT SEASON!" promo.

Maybe (and hopefully) because the next season will be done next year, so no footage for it yet.

Hmmm... I was under the impression that this was a one off series with no real plans for a second season. This season was first announced almost a full year before ever airing, and I remember some reports floating around that SyFy had planned on airing it last fall, put later pulled it to retool it before finally airing it in March. I would LOVE to see another season... though I think if they plan on turning this into their new Face Off, the prizes may have to change. I mean really, how many open jobs do they realistically have to give away? lol

I'd watch season two, especially if they ditch the spoilerish introductions to each episode and before each ad break.

I have to agree. The spoiler leaders were so bad there was no surprise at all. I can understand the need to retain the audience but not to the point there's nothing new to see when they do stick around.

It's a new trend in the reality TV format. The 'show one short crazy clip of some confrontation 25 times" edit. MTV has been beating clips to death on their low-brow reality TV for years now.

It's pretty blatantly trying to appeal to the drama-centric, low-attention span, low-IQ, everyday American who watches a lot of TV and needs to be constantly reminded of why they should keep watching so they see the big part that everyone will talk about tomorrow at work.

I think most above-average IQ TV watchers should get a directors cut option. Hell, i'd even take another short commercial in it's place.

Outside of that, yes it was a good show and I'd rather have a season of this half the year and a season of Face-Off the other half, instead of 2 Face-Offs a year

I'm with you, Stitch. I left with no indication that this was going to be a reoccurring series.

Yeah. The head of Syfy confirmed it in interview with the Hollywood Reporter a few days ago.

According to him, the show was just too expensive.

This should have had a second season. It was so much better than the other shows.
