Pulse

One thing that I think is total bullsnit in this film (more than anything else) is all the praise they give Pulse. The magazine was a free giveaway and a bargain at half the price. It was sub-Rolling Stone crap journalism with loads of ads. I took it because it was free but the only good thing was the Justin Green music-related comic in every issue. Some guy named Jackson something or something Jackson ran a monthly column that was total crap. I would read it just to get pissed off. Anyway, Tower spent a lot of money publishing this slick and I don`t see how it hurt them when the bank told them to shut it down.

I didn't even look at it once, as I just assumed it was ad-filled crap.
I mean come on -- look at the cover.

Pulse was just silly.

I remember I had to include it in every purchase bag. Because no one took it on their own volition! The store had to throw out so many unused copies.

I agree I may have picked it up once and then never again, but it sounds like it was cheap to produce and helped them as lame as it may have been. They are on the business side.
