Incestual overtones? Father's passion

There was a lot of physical contact between the father and the daughter. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing, but I thought that the film wanted to broadcast that something was a little off about this relationship.

It wasn't a great movie, but the father's passionate love for his daughter was very moving. No, he didn't seem like a cruel killer.

Everything doesn't have to have other meanings. He was a loving father to his daughter.

I saw no incestuous tendencies.

I think you need to re-evaluate a few things.
