I finished this movie only so that I could complain about it. What a worthless venture and truly time wasted. Boring, uninteresting characters with boring, uninteresting lives.

shareI keep wondering why, the Netflix algorithm, because I watched one movie about shrill, pretentious, self-pitying, self-indulgent, aimless, spineless, and/or angst filled individuals, and gave it my, "It didn't suck" or 3 star rating, believe I want to watch every similar movie out there. Large urban areas are crammed full of diverse, colorful, and interesting characters, with interesting stories, so why do so many independent film makers only seek to explore the trope of the world and lives of the uninteresting. It's been done before, many times, and so many are better than this offering.
I was only looking for some brain candy, some light, mindless fluff, when I typed in, "Romantic Comedies". So how did I wind up with this protracted whine of a movie as a top suggestion? I watched it through to the end, because I don't like to dis a movie I haven't given a thorough chance to improve. I kept getting lost in thought about other mundane things and had to "rewind" to catch what I missed and be bored all over again.
