What I thought was sweet, was Jackie's daughter Lia, seemed to be trying to play matchmaker for her! 😘 She obviously liked Ryan a lot, and wanted her Mom to be happy. (I think most kids do want their parents to be happy.) I liked it when Ryan and Lia were outside talking, Lia asks him how long he is planning on staying, Ryan says it's hard to say, and Lia says, "no it isn't." 😃😉
shareI've seen the actress who plays Lia (Emily Alyn Lind) in two other movies: "November Christmas" (2010) and "Dear Dumb Diary" (2013). They are both TV movies, but very good, in my opinion. The first is a tear jerker with Emily playing a little girl with a life threatening illness and the second is a comedy with musical sequences. It is aimed at middle school aged kids but I'm sure lots of adults would enjoy it too. Emily proves herself to be quite a performer and I think she is headed for greater fame in the future. "Dear Dumb Diary" is currently available on Netflix streaming.
