Read This If You're A Muppet Fan

I am posting today not about "Lady Gaga & the Muppets' Holiday Spectacular", but about another well-revered Muppet TV special that has a long-overdue re-release date. "Muppets Most Wanted" will be out in theaters and then on DVD & BluRay before you know it. However, "A Muppet Family Christmas" may not see a DVD release . . . unless you are willing to help us make it happen.

"A Muppet Family Christmas" has been out of print for over a decade, has not been aired on television for even longer, and has never been commercially released in its original uncut glory (at least not in North America). The special deserves better, and we're trying to change its strict unavailability.

We may not be able to change copyright laws. Hopefully, we'll be able to build enough of a following to convince the Jim Henson Company, Sesame Workshop, HIT Entertainment, the Walt Disney Company, and any other copyright owners that this special holds a significant place in many people's hearts.
