Has nothing to do with Holidays.

In the beginning, Lady Gaga states she loved the old Muppet Holiday specials, and wanted to make a new one.
What the heck does this have to do with the Holidays?
I mean, she just sings her own songs, which are just regular songs.
At least in the other specials with celebrities (Like with John Denver), they actually sang Christmas music and didn't use it as just a giant music video for songs we've already heard on the radio.
As a lifelong Muppet fan, I thought this special was quite rubbish and a waste of a great IP.
If Gaga actually sang Holiday tunes and not just her regular music, maybe I would have liked it a little more, but it was dumb and I did not enjoy it as a Holiday special.

Watched it last night and I seriously agree, plus I'm sure they knew it here cause I swear it was advertised as... Well at least something along the lines of the muppets and lady Gaga

Oh man that was the most annoying part of this whole special. You might as well have scratched out "Muppets" and "Holiday" in the title cause this was just false advertising.

It was just a vehicle to promote Lady Gaga's new album and the new Muppet film.

Corporate promotion at its worse.

Its that man again!!

I kept waiting for the Holiday part to start, but gave up after the third Gaga song....

"Good night, and grease for peace."
