Theory about Frank

I just watched this movie again and I noticed something. There is a scene where the name Macbeth is said out loud in the theatre. This, supposedly will unleash a curse. Every theatre kid learns this myth (?) at a young age. The known cure for this is for EVERYONE to leave the theatre, and the offender has to spin around 3 times, curse and spit. But in the scene in this movie, Frank NEVER LEAVES!! I wonder if this was done on purpose, because the story could essentially be over at that point if he were to have exited with the rest. But he stays, therefore keeping the "haunting" active. Hmmmmm.
