Cary?

Was Cary Elwes good friends or a relative of someone involved in the making of this movie? It just seems odd that a known actor who has done some bigger films would be in a movie like this. (I mean I know his career isn't what it was years ago but he's still in slightly more known films. Personally I still love him and think he's a wonderful actor...he could still kick ass in bigger roles in better movies if given the opportunity.) I mean for a lower budget movie this was okay but not really good either. It was watchable and something to keep me entertained during a night of insomnia. The acting was okay but the story was definitely lacking. I'm not trying to be mean asking this lol I'm just curious because it seemed so out of the ordinary for him. I actually think it's cool when well known actors do smaller/lower budget films instead of just doing whatever pays the most. :) I'm always curious what makes them pick them though. Sometimes it seems like they are just really into an idea but other times it just seems like they're doing someone a favor...
