6/10, not because of the subject matter though

I recon this film wasn't great. Not that it was bad or anything, it was informative and I would also highly recommend it to anyone as I believe it is a crucial subject to know about. However, from a doco POV, I don't think it was exceptional. I mean, I've seen so many docos just like this a million times. And I think Doco's should be judged on format and technical aspects just as much as subject matter. For example, I generally dislike Michael Moore as a person and think he's way too self-righteous and often over-dramatic, yet Bowling for Columbine and many of his other films are simply brilliantly put together. I'm fascinated by the Munich olympic massacre, yet I though the film "one day in September" was horribly mediocre on a technical aspects though the story it was based on was riveting.

So yeh, Schwartz was an important man and his death is frustrating and morbid (especially because I do believe with the public's support of him, he would've probably gotten off or a minor sentence) but this doco was merely better-than-average and not brilliant.
