'Down Where the Woodbine Twineth' folk song - who sang it?

The Sixties played this song over footage of hippies frolicking in a park - it was gorgeous. Anyone know who sings it? It's a soft male vocal, simple accompaniment - maybe just guitar. The lyrics were "Down where the woodbine twines, that's where my love and I go, down where the sun never shines..." that's all I remember.

I know it's an old (olde!) English poem and song, but I'd love to get the version that I heard on the tv show.
