Kennedy assassination

Watching the police activity after the shooting etc. My god, how many people touched the rifle they found in the Texas Book Repository? Guess forensic has come a long way in 50 yrs. Did no one think to wear gloves or bag evidence back then. I mean, they did at least know about fingerprints, right.

They certainly did do a bloody good job of messing up the evidence to the degree that they never got who did it or who was behind getting it done.

Knowledge of fingerprints go back to the 1800s. Mark Twain wrote a courtroom drama where fingerprints were a major plot point. I thought the episode on the Kennedy Assassination was one of the best of this miniseries.
