beautiful women, but over-the-top fashion
although i admired the creativity of the quirky outfits, only one woman (the gorgeous joyce caprioti (sp)looked truly elegant. her hair is snow white and beautiful. her clothes were simple and timeless. the other women were like peacocks, all colorfully dyed hair, brightly layered clothes, and those hats! i am their age (between 50 and death, as one of them put it), but i wouldn't find wearing a quirky hat or clunky jewelry liberating. just like i wonder why betsey johnson feels the need to be so over the top when dressing. sort of seems like grown women looking like toddlers. would've enjoyed this slight film more if the women were more representative. most older women don't wear rainbow colors and beanies. i'm sure the filmmaker could've found put together less flamboyant types to add to the mix.
