A good movie about redemption

Some of the reviews i've seen have been fairly negative which I don't understand. It never made itself out to be an action / thriller / in your face movie, just a story about the weight people carry around in their heart when things become too much and the consequences of your actions. It brought a lump to my throat in the final 3rd of the film. Emotional, think it worked well. Each to their own I guess.
I'd recommend this move to everyone who likes a deep well paced drama.

I think most of the negative viewers of this movie were either watching to see Sean Bean die, or were waiting for Sean Bean to fight a lot of people and then die.

I have to admit the first half went a bit too slow for my taste, but I really did enjoy the last 45 minutes. I thought I'd regret watching it but then I didn't.

And it was a good redemption movie. And I liked that it portrayed people normally. None of the characters over reacted in situations where characters usually over react and that was nice.

I agree,i did not like his character at first half of film,but towards the end i think it became a really good movie.
