I wish they had told viewers about what this film was about

I think the film was great but if anybody has watched this, they'll know of the scenes I am referring to when I say, I wish there would have been some indication of those scenes before hand.

I read the synopsis and I saw nothing that stated anything about the more intense scenes in the film and to be honest I wish I had known because they were a bit too full on.

I think the film could have been dealt with, without those scenes. I don't think they were necessary for the story.
