What happened in the end? We see her swimming, but then? And the voices (of school friends??) during that scene, i.e applauses and shouts as han gong ju?? So, what happened in the end?

I believe Gong-ju drowned. After surfacing, she just kind of flounders around in the water, then just before she slips out of frame, you can see her go under. After that, she swims competently across the frame under water — something we know she couldn't do. I saw this as something like her spirit, especially since she never surfaces again.
What isn't obvious and seems more up to interpretation is whether or not she changed her mind after jumping. The dialogue reveals that she had anticipated she might attempt suicide, and that she started learning how to swim in case she changed her mind. It's not clear whether she changed her mind, but couldn't swim well enough or whether she didn't really try and simply gave in to the current.
