My Heart Breaks

I feel so much empathy and sympathy for Pastor Reinke and his family. It's very clear they have a lot of love and compassion for others.

As a gay man, I can appreciate how horrible it must have been for him to keep his secret AND deal with so many homeless people needing shelter AND having someone blackmail him!!! God's grace must have been upon him because any other human being would have cracked under such pressure.

I will pray for the Lord to heal the wounds of him and his family and hope they continue preaching the Gospel and helping the poor.

May God bless them all

This is a faithful saying...Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

What a beautiful thing to say.

Don't care he's gay. He was the only person in that town that actually helped people on a large scale. Unlike so many scamsters, conmen, cold readers, cultists he acutally took the message literally. They should be celebrating this guy. Not good press for the Lutherans or this crappy town.

He was a manipulator and hid behind the tile "pastor" to take advantage of young guys desperate for help. It sickens me to even imagine one person having any sympathy for this man, but that's how they get away with deception for so long. Pathetic.

How did he "take advantage of young guys desperate for help"?
